Models Own - Sweet Shop Collection

As you can tell by my slightly chubby physique I am not someone who turns away sweet things, ever! So you can imagine my excitement when Models Own announced their scented sweet shop line!

I was lucky enough to receive the whole collection in the post this morning!

They arrived very well packaged and I undid them all immediately and gave them a good sniff...initially I was a bit disappointed to be honest. They just smelt like nail varnish! But, as you apply it and it dries that's when the scents happen!

I have acrylic nails as I'm a terrible bitter and they need redoing so look a bit rubbish at the moment...but we're not here to discuss the state of my nails.
The scents and colours are:
Pinky- Liquorice Black I'm not a huge fan of licorice so chose my smallest nail! The colour is really pigmented and only really needed one coat, the smell isn't too strong but you can tell what it is. I imagine if you did a whole hand it could be quite over powering, or delicious if you love liquorice!
Ring Finger-Pear Drop Orange I love love love the colour of this! There is a slight glitter effect to reflect the sugar coating of the sweet. There was barely any smell to this one though, so pear drop lovers don't get your hopes up!
Middle Finger-Rhubarb and Custard Red Again this varnish doesn't have a very strong smell, but there is something there! It's a really nice red colour with larger piece of silver glitter running through it.
First Finger-Bubble Gum Pink This is AMAZING! I think this is the best smell of them all, just like a delicious gumball! It's a smooth colour, and like the black could get away with only one coat. Anytime today where myvhand has been near my face it's all I can smell, which is delightful!
Thumb-Cola Bottle Brown Cola bottles are my favourite sweet and I'm a bit of a diet coke addict! I'd say it is the second strongest smell after bubblegum, but I would smother my whole hand in it so I could sniff it all day! Again to reflect the sugar coating there is a slight glitter through it. I'm not that keen on the colour, but there isn't really any other colour it could be!

I didn't use a top coat as I thought it might trap the smell in! As you can see the colours are super glossy and give strong coverage.

Over all I can highly recommend the bubblegum for scent and colour, the cola for pure scummyness and, yeah the black if you love liquorice. The other two are great colour and quality wise, just haven't been some on the scent!

Has anyone else tried these yet? What's your verdict?
