Down Dorset

Back in April my Granny moved back to England after 20 years in France and now she's all sorted we went down to visit for a few days.
It's so nice down there and despite the grotty weather we tried to make the best of it and squeeze in seeing all the prettiness!

We drove up and up and up to a prison no less, Granny knows all the classiest places! You could see so far from up there! It was quite cloudy, but on a clear day it would be glorious!

We went to possibly the windiest beach in the whole world. So windy it blew my face in to my neck and gave me 5 chins and blew Christopher up like a marshmallow.

Hardy Monument

And finally, Grans dog...cos, dog!

I hope we can go and visit again soon, maybe when it's not so over cast and windy! Anyone got other suggestions of visiting spots?

  4. Despite England's terrible weather, I still can't help but love seeing photos like this of pebbled beaches and anoraks!! Also, how lovely that your nan lived in France for 20 years - I can't imagine why she'd want to return to the UK?!
